If there's ever a time of year to eat chocolate- it's Easter (like we need an excuse!). I'm often asked if I can eat chocolate as a vegan and of course, the answer is yes.
Avoid milk-containing chocolate and opt for luxurious dark chocolate. If this is too rich, there are a wealth of dairy-free milk chocolate using soya, almond or coconut milk. Double check that any cocoa you use is pure and does't contain hidden lactose (milk sugar).
For cooking, I like to use at least 70% cocoa solid chocolate for the best flavour and silky texture. For eating straight from the box I love Booja Booja and Montezuma's.
